Cambourne Village College has seen rapid growth from its first intake of just 132 students in September 2013. Now with more than 900 pupils enjoying the opportunities offered by this Ofsted Outstanding rated secondary school, the college is undergoing an expansion to provide additional facilities including two further science laboratories, art, photography and design technology workshops, a business studies suite and a planned Sixth Form Centre development.

AN EDUCATED INVESTMENT
We were delighted to be involved in the planning and implementation of data and communications systems for the expansion of Cambourne Village College.
The project involved the supply and installation of a new communications cabinet in the expansion building. New Cat6 LSF data cabling was to be installed linking to this cabinet as well as new cables installed to three existing communications cabinets within the main college building.
Finally, fibre cabling comprising 8 core OM3 cable was to be installed from main communications room in the ICT suite to the new cabinet in expansion building.
