WARWICK SCHOOL / ST NICHOLAS PARK
DataLan were pleased to be responsible for the Data Cabling Network at Warwick School/St Nicholas Park which hosted the Men’s and Ladies cycling event for the Commonwealth Games 2022 on Sunday 7th August.
Temporary fibre optic and copper link cables were installed to provide network access for the TV broadcasting, media, spectator entrance/screening, merchandise and vendors.
We even had time on the day to enjoy the racing!

"After a hectic, chaotic and sometimes frustrating few weeks, the Commonwealth Games are finally over. We still have some bump-out works to complete at site, which will be completed by Friday this week at the very latest for all venues, but the most stressful part is now over.
On behalf of Agora and myself I'd like to thank you for all the assistance and patience throughout the project, it certainly wasn't always easy when the plans were being developed on a day-to-day basis. The teams onsite have been fantastic, very professional, hard working and have shown great willingness to go the extra mile on a number of occasions when requested.
